Designed for operators seeking highly accurate insights into multiphase flow, the XACT system uses a patented combination of multiple ultrasonic paths, including axial and dual helical pairs, to build a complete profile of the liquid inside the pipe. From this, the meter calculates volumetric flow rate, flow velocity, net oil rate, net water rate, and real-time water cut, without needing to access the process fluid.
Thanks to its true clamp-on design, XACT installs entirely outside the pipe with no spool piece, cutting, or process downtime. A typical installation takes 3–4 hours on a live line and requires no straight-run piping; the system is fully tolerant of bends, valves, and reducers.
