The SITRANS FS230 (Gas) is Siemens’ flagship non-intrusive clamp-on system for precision measurement of gas flow. It is designed to provide high accuracy, advanced diagnostics, and installation flexibility across a wide range of pipe sizes and gas types — including natural gas, process gases, and specialty gases.

Built around the powerful FST030 transmitter and FSS200 sensors, the FS230 (Gas) achieves accuracy levels of 0.5–1.0% with repeatability down to 0.25%. The system conforms to AGA-9 standards and supports pipe diameters from 0.5″ up to 10 metres. It operates without process interruption, cutting, or welding, making it ideal for retrofit or difficult-to-access installations.
