The Pepperl+Fuchs Tab-IND 10 ThinManager Ready is a rugged Non-Ex industrial tablet designed for ThinManager-based digital workflows in industrial environments. This configuration combines a 10.1-inch display with an Intel N100 platform, 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128 GB UFS storage and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
Unlike the Windows 11 and Android configurations in the Tab-IND range, this model is supplied with a ThinManager-ready BIOS rather than a conventional pre-installed operating system. It can boot firmware directly from ThinManager, enabling the tablet to operate as a centrally managed mobile endpoint within a Rockwell Automation ThinManager environment.
Within the 10.1-inch Tab-IND range, 480993-100012 is the dedicated ThinManager Ready configuration. Organisations requiring a conventional Windows 11 LTSC tablet can instead select the corresponding Tab-IND 10 WIN models, while this version is specifically intended for deployments built around centrally managed ThinManager infrastructure.
The tablet is suited to mobile industrial workflows across manufacturing, logistics and field service. Its WUXGA touchscreen supports passive stylus and cotton-glove operation, including improved use in wet and outdoor conditions, while the SmartBack interface and optional Scanner Frame support application-specific accessory integration.
For operational deployment, the Tab-IND 10 ThinManager Ready combines IP65 protection with an operating temperature range of -20 to +50 °C and a specified operating duration of up to 14 hours. Docking, charging, protection and handling accessories can be selected around the intended workflow and installation environment.
