The Pepperl+Fuchs Tab-IND 10 AND is a rugged Non-Ex industrial tablet designed for Android-based digital workflows in general industrial environments. This configuration combines a 10.1-inch display with Android 15, Wi-Fi 6E and 5G RedCap connectivity for organisations that require mobile-network access alongside site WLAN.
Built around the Qualcomm QCS6490 platform, the tablet provides a mobile interface for accessing and capturing operational information directly where work is being carried out. The larger display format is suited to Android-based applications and workflows where more screen area is useful for viewing, interaction and data entry.
Within the Android Tab-IND 10 range, 480993-100018 is the 5G RedCap configuration. In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, it provides 5G WWAN and integrated GPS/GNSS/Galileo positioning for applications that require mobile-network connectivity and location-aware functionality. The separate 480993-100017 model provides the corresponding Wi-Fi configuration where cellular connectivity and GNSS are not required.
The Tab-IND 10 AND is suited to applications across manufacturing, logistics and field service. An optional Scanner Frame adds integrated scanning capability, while the SmartBack interface enables compatible accessories and additional functions to be integrated around the tablet for application-specific deployments.
For fleet and lifecycle planning, Pepperl+Fuchs specifies long-term device availability of at least five years for the Tab-IND series together with regular software updates. A replaceable battery, user-accessible microSDXC storage and modular accessory platform further support deployment and ongoing use across industrial device fleets.
