The Pepperl+Fuchs Tab-IND 08 WIN is a compact, rugged Non-Ex tablet designed for Windows-based digital workflows in general industrial environments. Its smaller 8.4-inch format provides an alternative to larger industrial tablets where portability and convenient handling are important.
Designed for digital working at the point of operation, the Tab-IND 08 WIN enables personnel to access and capture information directly where work is being carried out rather than relying on fixed workstations. The Windows platform makes it suited to organisations that need Windows-based applications and workflows available on a mobile industrial device.
At approximately 550 g and only 12.5 mm deep, the tablet combines a compact form factor with the durability required for mobile industrial use. The touchscreen can be operated with cotton gloves or a passive stylus and is designed for improved usability in wet and outdoor conditions.
The Tab-IND 08 WIN is suited to applications across manufacturing, automotive, intralogistics, warehousing, aviation and field service. An optional Scanner Frame extends the platform for barcode scanning, transport tracking and warehouse picking, while the SmartBack interface supports further compatible accessories for application-specific configurations.
For organisations planning wider or longer-term deployments, Pepperl+Fuchs specifies long-term device availability of at least five years for the Tab-IND series together with regular software updates.
