The Dwyer Series GFT2 is a flow totaliser and secondary display for compatible analogue flow meters and controllers. It processes the connected instrument’s signal to show instantaneous flow rate, total and accumulated total on a local graphic LCD.
The GFT2 does not contain the primary flow sensor. Its accuracy and displayed values therefore depend on correct signal matching, full-scale configuration, engineering units and the performance of the connected meter or controller.
Input signal and serial interface are selected together. Documented models accept 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA and provide either RS-232 or RS-485 communications. Up to 47 volumetric and mass-flow units, including a user-defined option, support varied flow systems.
For compatible flow-controller systems, the GFT2 can also provide a setpoint signal and programmed setpoint operation. Two programmable optically isolated outputs can signal selected events or provide pulse output, while high- and low-flow alarms support monitoring.
Compact mounting options suit instrument-mounted, panel, wall and field installations. Typical uses include gas or liquid consumption monitoring, laboratory and test systems, process skids, OEM equipment and supervisory data integration, subject to the connected instrument and interface compatibility.
