Able Instruments offer the Barksdale Series 4140 High Pressure Valve for directional control in extreme high-pressure fluid systems. Designed specifically for severe service applications, the Series 4140 is engineered to operate safely and reliably where conventional valve designs reach their limits.
The Series 4140 valve is based on Barksdale’s proven Shear-Seal® operating principle, using a rotating stainless steel rotor and stationary seal to provide positive shut-off, low internal leakage and consistent performance under very high pressure. This design also offers improved tolerance to contaminated fluids and reduced operating effort compared with traditional spool or poppet-style valves.
