Barksdale High Pressure OEM Valves
Shear-Seal® directional control valves designed for high-pressure OEM hydraulic systems
Able Instruments offer the Barksdale High Pressure OEM Valve range for reliable directional control in high-pressure hydraulic systems. This product family includes Series 6140, 6180, 6900 and 6940, developed specifically for original equipment manufacturers requiring compact, configurable and dependable valve solutions.
The High Pressure OEM Valves are based on Barksdale’s proven Shear-Seal® operating principle, using a rotating rotor and stationary seal to provide positive shut-off, low internal leakage and consistent performance under pressure. Compared with conventional spool-type valves, the Shear-Seal® design offers improved tolerance to contamination and debris, supporting reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
Key Features:
- High-pressure hydraulic directional control: Designed for reliable operation in OEM hydraulic systems operating up to approximately 3,000 psi.
- Shear-Seal® operating principle: Rotating rotor and stationary seal provide positive shut-off and low internal leakage under pressure.
- OEM-focused design: Compact construction and configurable options support efficient integration into custom equipment and manifolds.
- Contamination tolerance: Shear-Seal® technology maintains consistent performance in hydraulic systems with particulate contamination.
- Multiple series options: Series 6140, 6180, 6900 and 6940 provide flexibility in porting style and mounting orientation.
- Stable and reliable performance: Designed to deliver consistent directional control in demanding industrial environments.
- Low maintenance requirements: Proven valve design reduces wear compared with conventional spool-type valves.
