The AMETEK Brookfield Jerome 10:1 Dilution Module is an accessory designed for use with Jerome gas analysers where sampled gas concentrations exceed the instrument’s direct measurement capability. It connects inline with the analyser intake, enabling higher concentration samples to be processed safely within the measurement system.
It is used in applications where gas levels are expected to exceed the analyser’s normal operating range. By conditioning the sample before it reaches the instrument, the module allows measurements to be taken without overloading the sensor, supporting controlled monitoring of elevated mercury (Hg) or hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) concentrations.
The module operates by mixing a portion of the incoming sample with filtered fresh air before it enters the analyser. During sampling, gas is drawn through the module and diluted prior to measurement, meaning the value displayed by the instrument must be multiplied by ten to determine the actual gas level.
Important: The module must be used only where dilution is required, and the fresh air inlet must remain unobstructed to maintain correct operation during sampling.
