The Armadex Ex UniCase is a certified tablet enclosure designed for use in hazardous areas classified as ATEX Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (dust). It provides a safe and compliant way to deploy modern consumer tablets in explosive environments, without the limitations of traditional device-specific explosion proof housings.
Conventional ATEX tablets and iPad cases are typically built around a single hardware model. When that model is discontinued or replaced, the entire certified unit must be scrapped and repurchased, resulting in unnecessary cost, downtime, and repeated certification cycles. The UniCase addresses this problem by separating the certified enclosure from the tablet itself.

At the core of the system is a universal, impact-resistant enclosure combined with a modular, device-specific inlay.
