XSENS develops clamp-on ultrasonic metering systems for oil and gas applications, delivering accurate measurement from outside the pipe. Their patented multi-path acoustic approach (helical and axial) builds a full flow profile through the pipe wall, enabling reliable data without cutting the line, adding spool pieces, or creating pressure drop.

Able Instruments are XSENS’ official UK representative. We supply and support two XSENS systems on ableinstruments.com: the XACT Clamp-On Water Cut Meter for continuous 0–100% water-in-oil monitoring, and the XACT Clamp-On Liquid Flow Rate & Water Cut Meter for simultaneous flow rate, water cut, and calculated net oil and net water rates. Both install in hours, require no straight-run lengths, and are suited to Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments. Typical uses include wells, separators, pipelines, FPSOs, refineries, and allocation skids.
