CorDEX brand evolution and successor manufacturers
CorDEX Instruments products have undergone several brand transitions as product lines evolved and manufacturing responsibility moved to successor organisations. While CorDEX Instruments is no longer an active manufacturing brand, the technologies and application focus continue under current manufacturers.

Current ATEX digital camera offering (formerly CorDEX / iCorDEX)
ATEX digital cameras originally supplied under the CorDEX and iCorDEX brands are now manufactured by CENEGEX. These products maintain the same core application focus of enabling safe image and video capture in hazardous areas.
For most new projects and replacement requirements, Able Instruments recommends the CENEGEX DCx13-3 ATEX Digital Camera as the current successor to legacy CorDEX camera products.
Infrared inspection windows (formerly CorDEX, now ViPIRS)
Infrared inspection window products previously supplied under the CorDEX name are now manufactured by ViPIRS. These products continue to support safe infrared inspection of live electrical assets without opening enclosures, helping reduce risk and improve inspection efficiency.
Able Instruments supplies ViPIRS smart infrared inspection windows, including the IW2000, IW3000 and IW4000 to support inspection programmes across industrial sites.
End-of-life CorDEX products and replacement guidance
Some CorDEX products, including the CorDEX Extreme and CorDEX Digitherm, are now end of life. Able Instruments continues to receive enquiries for these legacy models and can provide guidance on suitable modern replacements.
