The Rixen Messtechnik Rixotact_4 is a Ringbalance differential pressure controller for measuring low draft, pressure and differential pressure. It is designed for applications where the measured pressure value is also used for automatic control.
Using Rixen Messtechnik’s Ringbalance measuring principle, the Rixotact_4 combines low-pressure measurement with an integrated three-point step controller. This makes it suitable where relay-based open, close or hold control is required for pressure-related process or ventilation duties.
The controller includes two selectable setpoints, adjustable from 20% to 80% of span and selected via terminals. Control settings include proportional band, differential action, neutral zone and switching frequency, allowing the instrument to be configured around the control behaviour required by the application.
In addition to the controller function, the Rixotact_4 provides a 0–10 V transmitter output proportional to the measured actual value. The LCD display can show either the actual value or the selected setpoint, supporting commissioning, checking and adjustment at the instrument.
The Rixotact_4 is suited to low-pressure control applications such as furnace pressure control, ventilation control, room pressure control and similar industrial gas and air duties. Measuring range, power supply and overload protection requirements should be reviewed before ordering.
