The Rixen Messtechnik RW65 is a wall-mounted Ringbalance indicator for local measurement of low draft, pressure, differential pressure and flow. It is designed for industrial gas and air applications where operators need a clear analogue pressure reading at the point of measurement.
Using Rixen Messtechnik’s Ringbalance measuring principle, the RW65 provides mechanical pressure indication across freely selectable ranges from 0…40 Pa to 0…1.8 kPa. Available scale units include Pa, kPa, daPa, mbar, mmWS, mmCE and in.W.C., allowing the instrument to be configured around the required process or ventilation duty.
The RW65 is suited to low-pressure industrial gas and air applications such as ventilation monitoring, furnace pressure indication, combustion air monitoring, chimney draft monitoring and general differential pressure indication in gaseous media. Its mechanical local indication helps operators read process conditions without relying on electrical power or a separate digital interface.
For applications requiring switching or alarm functions, the RW65 can be specified with optional inductive or mechanical contacts. Inductive contacts are available for minimum, maximum, dual minimum or minimum / maximum switching duties, while mechanical contacts are available for measuring ranges above 200 Pa.
The instrument is supplied in an IP65 wall-mounted housing with a hardened front glass pane. Where pressure spikes or abnormal overload conditions may occur, the optional DZ overload protection device can be considered during specification.
