Quanturi Tango XN Compost Temperature Monitoring System
Continuous temperature monitoring for composting and bio-waste process control
Key highlights
- Compost monitoring: Designed for continuous temperature tracking in bio-waste processes
- Wireless system: No cabling or trenching required across site
- Core measurement: Captures true internal compost temperatures
- Remote access: View live and historical data via cloud platform
- Temperature alerts: Supports early response to abnormal heat build-up
- Traceability: Creates temperature records for compliance and reporting
The Quanturi Tango XN system provides continuous temperature monitoring for composting and bio-waste processes, giving operators clear visibility of internal material conditions during fermentation, hygienisation and maturation.
In composting operations, temperature control is critical to both safety and process performance. Uncontrolled heat build-up can increase fire risk, while limited visibility of temperature history can make compliance and process verification more difficult.
The system uses wireless Tango XN probes inserted directly into compost masses to measure true core temperatures where biological activity occurs. This reduces reliance on manual thermometer checks and improves the accuracy of temperature monitoring across the site.
Temperature data is transmitted to a base station and uploaded to the cloud, enabling remote monitoring, alert configuration and historical data analysis from a standard web interface or mobile device.
For commercial composting and bio-waste facilities, this enables more controlled, auditable process monitoring, supporting earlier response to abnormal temperature changes and improving overall operational consistency.
Key Features
- Real-time monitoring: Continuous temperature measurement enables ongoing visibility of compost conditions
- Hourly measurement cycle: Automatic readings captured at regular intervals without manual intervention
- Long-range radio communication: Typical transmission up to 200 m, extendable using repeaters for larger sites
- Cellular-connected base station: Automatically uploads data without requiring on-site internet or Wi-Fi
- Configurable alert thresholds: User-defined limits enable remote notification of temperature deviations
- Data export capability: Temperature records can be exported for reporting and process documentation
- Robust stainless steel probe: Designed for durability in corrosive, high-moisture compost environments
- Multi-site scalability: Supports monitoring across multiple composting areas via wireless network architecture
